"It's so nice having a local farm. The owners are as sweet as can be and their prices are shockingly low for the amazing quality. It's more important than ever to support our local farmers. So many farms have been taken over by Big Ag and they're just never the same after. The quality goes down as a result. With factory farming, which is awful for the animals, and in turn, awful for the consumer eating the meat, there's no love and care, but rigid and harsh conditions for the animals. Conditions that would drive anyone away from ever eating meat from a factory farm if they took the time to observe or research. With buying from a farm, you know exactly where your food comes from and can meet the people who raise/grow it. This certainly can't be said about grocery stores. I love the connection to community and the assurance of quality that buying from a farmer gives you. No quick sales or "reduced pricing" at grocery stores can ever compare, imo."
